Enrollment & Registration

Treasure Valley Classical Academy is an open enrollment, tuition-free public charter school. TVCA will open with grades K-6 in August 2019 and will expand by adding one grade each year until the school reaches K-12 status. All Treasure Valley students are eligible to attend, with seats filled through a lottery system. As per Idaho Code, all prospective students will be given the opportunity to enroll regardless of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, gender, socio or economic status, or special needs.

Enrollment Coordinator

Please contact Mrs. Holly Fugate at enrollment@tvcacademy.org or 208-918-3132 with any questions.

All parents wishing to enroll their students in the school must first establish an account in SchoolMint (tvca.schoolmint.net) and fill out an intent-to-enroll application.

After the Intent-to-Enroll Application has been submitted, and your student is offered a seat by the enrollment coordinator, you must complete the registration process in the following steps. If you do not complete these steps by the deadline in your offer of admission email, your seat will be forfeited and offered to the next student on the wait list. If all seats are not filled by the first registration deadline, then seats will be offered on a rolling basis until all are filled.

Please Note:  Only those who are contacted by the enrollment coordinator and given an offer of admission need to complete the following registration steps:

Step 1:  Fill out the online registration forms. Registration forms will become available to you through our online enrollment system, SchoolMint (tvca.schoolmint.net) once your student has been offered a seat.

Step 2:  Submit to TVCA required hard-copy documents. In addition to the online registration forms found in SchoolMint, originals of the following documents must be brought to the enrollment coordinator by scheduling an appointment via enrollment@tvcacademy.org.

Required Hard-Copy Registration Documents
Proof of Residency

  • A current (within the last 30 days) utility bill (preferably Idaho Power), written proof of utility service, or lease agreement indicating utilities paid with lease; any of which include the SAME name and address of the legal/custodial parent/guardian (if you use paperless billing, you need to contact them for an original).
  • Valid Photo Identification of said legal/custodial parent/guardian that matches the name on the document.

Immunization Record

  • Please provide your student’s most recent vaccination record. To enter or transfer into public or private schools, all children in preschool and grades K-12 must meet immunization requirements before attendance. No child shall attend school without proof of immunization status.

Certified Birth Certificate

  • Idaho state law (IC 18-4511) requires this be provided at the time of enrollment or within 30 days of enrollment.

Wait List
At any time, families may log into SchoolMint to view if a wait list position has changed.  The 2019-2020 wait lists will remain active until the day of the 2020-2021 enrollment lottery in 2020. Please note that wait lists do not carry over from year to year. Please ensure that your contact information in SchoolMint is always current and updated so we may notify you of events and opportunities to learn more about Treasure Valley Classical Academy.

General Information About SchoolMint
