Lottery Application for Academic Year 2024-2025
Treasure Valley Classical Academy is a public, tuition-free, open-enrollment school that will serve students in grades Kindergarten through 11th grade by the fall of 2024. Students must reside within the state of Idaho to be eligible to attend tuition free.
The lottery application for new students for the 2024-2025 school year will open on Tuesday, January 23. All applications submitted before 11:00pm on Friday, March 1 will be entered into our enrollment lottery. The lottery will take place on Tuesday, March 12 at 9:00am and the results of the lottery will be published as soon as possible thereafter. The registration deadline for families offered a seat immediately after the lottery is Friday, March 29.
Lottery applications submitted after 11:00pm MST on March 1, 2024 will be added to the post-lottery wait lists in the order forms are received in our SchoolMint system. Please note: lottery preferences are still applied to students on wait lists.
All prospective students will be given the opportunity to enroll in Treasure Valley Classical Academy regardless of race, color, national or ethnic origin, religion, gender, social or economic status or special needs.

Information Sessions
Prospective parents of students and members of the community are invited to join the Treasure Valley Classical Academy administration and enrollment staff for an overview of our academic philosophy, academic plan, school life, and sports/activities, and a detailed explanation of the enrollment process.
Parent information sessions will take place on the following dates:
January 18 | 7:00 – 8:30pm | TVCA Auditorium

Lottery Details
Each year, the enrollment process will a) fill a new grade of Kindergarten students, and b) position students to take seats that may come available in first grade and above.
To the extent that demand exceeds the number of available seats for any given grade, the administration will conduct a public, system-generated, grade-level lottery. The public lottery will take place at Treasure Valley Classical Academy, 500 SW 3rd Street, Fruitland, ID 83619. Lottery results will be posted to each applicant’s online SchoolMint account on the day of the lottery.
In accordance with Treasure Valley Classical Academy’s charter and as permitted by IDAPA § 08-02-04 7, Treasure Valley Classical Academy will grant enrollment preference to children of board members and of full-time employees, to the siblings of currently-enrolled students and to students who reside within Payette County.
“Sibling” means a child who shares at least one common biological or legal parent whether through natural or adoptive means, including biological siblings that share parents; half siblings that share a single parent; step siblings that share a parent or parents through marriage even if the marriage was terminated by death or dissolution; children who share a parent or parents through adoption or guardianship; and foster children awaiting permanent placement. Siblings, for the purpose of Treasure Valley Classical Academy’s enrollment process, must reside within the State of Idaho.
The result of the lottery for rising Kindergarten students will be a list of 50 “seated” students, plus a numerical wait list. The result of the lottery for first grade students and above will be a numerical wait list. Wait list number may be monitored by parents through their online SchoolMint account. The school will use the wait list to offer available seats to students on a grade-by-grade basis as they become available.
