Annual Giving Campaign
Sustaining a Classic, an Annual Giving Campaign, will launch in during the 2026-2027 school year to protect and preserve the legacy and future of TVCA.
Thanks to the dedication and commitment of our community members since the launch of Treasure Valley Classical Academy in Fall of 2019, our school has now become fully established as a K-12 school on two permanent campuses in the cities of Fruitland and Payette.
Our previous campaign, Founding a Classic, laid the foundation for our school to arrive at this phase. In order to build upon this work and sustain the mission and vision of TVCA for perpetuity, we are launching a new campaign, Sustaining a Classic.
This campaign seeks to invite all those who believe in and desire to contribute to this mission to give a renewable annual donation to TVCA to help bridge the gap between our operational needs and our state funding.
School Funding Fast Facts
- The state of Idaho consistently ranks lowest in per pupil funding out of all 50 states. Idaho K-12 public schools receive less than half of the nationwide funding average.
- Treasure Valley Classical Academy receives approximately 40% fewer operational dollars per pupil than district school in Idaho.
- Treasure Valley Classical Academy receives less than 70% of the average per pupil funding provided to other Hillsdale K-12 member schools.
- The state legislature did not increase the funding for schools 26-27 school year, despite costs continuing to increase. We expect this trend may continue in the 27-28 school year.
- Public charter schools cannot initiate voter-approved levies, leaving fewer options to pay facility costs. TVCA uses its general operational budget to pay facility debt service.
- In addition to the above facts that demonstrate the general need we have to maintain our excellent programming, TVCA has specific needs related to the establishment of our Upper Campus and the continued preservation of our historic Elementary Campus.
Now, we invite you to lead with us in securing the financial strength that will sustain our mission for generations.
Our Strategic Need
We recognize that every family has unique needs and differing capacity to give financial support to the academy. We invite every family to consider what they may be able to give, whether as an annual or monthly sustaining gift. Our goal is to aim for 100% participation, whatever that gift may be.
Our financial goal would be met in one of two ways:
- If, for every student, families and community members donated an average of $500 per year (approximately $42 per month).
- If, for every family, on average, gave $882 per year (approximately $74 per month).
The above gifts would sustain our annual operational needs, assist with bridging the gap between the funding of fellow Idaho schools and Hillsdale K-12 member schools, and secure our future during a difficult time for Idaho educational funding.

TVCA students continue to demonstrate exceptional achievement:
- Strong state assessment performance: 48% higher than state-wide scores
- SAT Data: (100% of TVCA Juniors take the SATs, compared to 67% of Idaho students)
