What can I do to help prepare my child?
Literacy and language are the foundation to access all other knowledge (including mathematics and the sciences). To understand how we approach this topic, please take a moment to watch this presentation by Dr. Daniel Coupland (Associate Professor of Education at Hillsdale College). To help build vocabulary and comprehension for your child, please consider reading to your child from this suggested list of books (please take note of the suggestions on the front page).
